Time of Death Chakram Anaglyph 3D

Description

I've seen a lot of anaglyph pictures lately and I finally got a few pairs of (cheap) 3D glasses. I was really impressed by the pictures of Louis Carlsson and the way he manipulated 2D pictures into 3D anaglyph pictures so I decided to try that for myself. Problem was how. So I searched all over the internet and I found a few, but none was as useful or informative as this one [link]
So I tried a few and got weird results. But then I tried again and succeeded. Well I tried on a Jordan Carver picture I have and it turned out quite nice, but since I wasn't sure about copyright problems and stuff I didn't upload it. But instead I did one of my originals. It was very simple, so depth map took only a few minutes and I had to change the color of the numbers since red was straining the eyes when viewed with the glasses, although it could just be my glasses (they are cheap red blue and not quality red cyan, so colors are off too) but I really liked the result, which really suit this kind of picture.
Here is the original picture [link]
Maybe I will decide to upload the Jordan Carver I did some other time.
Anyway, tell me what you think.

First of all ,please let me tell you that I'm totally new to this 3D experience .

I first tried it a couple of months ago in a short movie in the amusement park !! I was thrilled .

Please don't be surprised ,There are no 3D cinemas in Iraq for us to see 3D movies .So you might understand how I felt trying it ,Amused like a little kid .

Today ,I came to ^Cymae's page to suggest a DD ,I saw this featured in her journal and I got curious ,Can it be real ?

So I borrowed my younger-brother's 3D-glasses that he bought for his 3D monitor but we hadn't used yet ...And I clicked some of these deviations you featured here and started to stare .

At first Nothing happened ,So I stood up and turned the lights off and returned to stare again ,Then ....all of a sudden ...a miracle happened !!

My laptop monitor had DEPTH !!!! It's like I'm staring to a glass box not a monitor !!! I was thrilled that I started to laugh loudly .

Thank you so much for this wonderful experience .

I didn't even realize that we have such a gallery here in dA ,nor I realized that there's such a possibility of making 3D images that can be seen through any kind of monitors ,not necessarily a specialized one .....

Awesome :iconsomuchluffplz:
